Corrections Log: What We Got Wrong and How We Fixed Each One
When a rule on this site is wrong, we fix it and say so here. Report a wrong rule with the venue name and a link to the page that shows the current rule. We read the source again and fix confirmed errors within 48 hours. Each fix is logged with the date, the old rule and the new one.

The correction log
Newest first. Each entry names the venue, the rule as we first published it and the rule after the fix.
No corrections yet. Only 302 venues are live so far, and each page shows the date its rules were read. This list fills the first time we get one wrong.
What counts as a correction
A correction is a published rule that was wrong when we published it, or one we misread. A venue changing its policy afterward is not a correction. That is a routine update, and it goes in the change log at the bottom of the venue page.
How to report a wrong rule
Send it through the contact page and include:
- The venue and the item
- A link to the page that shows the current rule
- The event date, if the rule may differ by event
We read the source again before we change anything, because a report is a lead, not a verdict. If the venue's page agrees with us, we reply and leave the rule as it is.
What we change when we are wrong
We fix the rule, update the check date and add a line to that venue's change log. If the mistake could have sent someone to the gate with the wrong bag, the entry says so plainly. The method behind every rule is on the how we verify page.
