- Factory-sealed plastic bottles of water are allowed at some venues, usually up to a stated size.
- Glass bottles and thermoses are banned at the venues we checked that mention them.
- Some venues ban outside drinks or bottles entirely, including AT&T Stadium, Caesars Superdome, Chase Center, Toyota Center, Kaseya Center and Fiserv Forum, and a few of those point you to water fountains inside. Fiserv Forum bans even empty bottles.
- Disneyland says you can refill your own bottle at filling stations inside, and Walt Disney World lets you bring non-alcoholic drinks that are not in glass, with no size cap stated. Six Flags does not allow outside drinks.
Before you go
- 1Check whether your event is a game or a concert, because the bottle rule can change.
- 2Where a venue says reusable bottles must be empty, empty it before you reach security.
- 3If you have a medical need, contact the venue before the event. Several venues handle that case by case.
Questions about water bottles
Often yes, but the details differ. Some stadiums allow an empty reusable bottle up to a size cap, and some allow sealed bottles. Open the venue to see its exact rule and source.
In the venues we have checked, glass bottles are banned. One stadium makes an exception for glass baby bottles, and staff decide each case.
Venues rarely explain, and some say only that outside food and beverage are not permitted. Some point to water fountains or concessions inside.
