Short answer

Knott's Berry Farm allows unopened or empty water bottles, baby food and food for special dietary needs, but no other outside food, drink or snacks. Radios, stereos, luggage and coolers larger than one foot each way are banned, and all bags are searched. During Scary Farm only clear bags up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches are allowed.

No other outside food, drink or snack items are permitted in Knott's Berry Farm or Soak City. Large coolers, meaning larger than 1 x 1 x 1 foot, are not allowed in the park. Any food inside still has to fit the outside food rule.

Cameras and electronics

Filming is prohibited on most rides and attractions, whether the device is secured or not. Photography that disrupts guests or park operations is also not allowed. The pages do not mention camera lenses, tripods, drones, laptops, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Wagons used as strollers are allowed. Single and double strollers can be rented in Ghost Town next to the Geode Shop, and manual and electric wheelchairs are available there too. The pages do not mention a medical bag process.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

The pages do not mention umbrellas, blankets and seat cushions.

Signs, flags and fan items

The pages do not mention signs, flags and binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

The pages describe no separate medical bag process, so ask the venue before the event if you need to bring medical items.

Security screening and arrival

All guests, bags, parcels and other items are subject to inspection, including metal detection or other screening. Security staff use surveillance and body-worn cameras.

Bag storage and lockers

All-day lockers cost 15 to 25 dollars by size and are near GhostRider in Ghost Town. Single-use ride lockers of 10 x 13 x 17 inches at GhostRider, HangTime and Silver Bullet were added in September 2025.

Park days and Scary Farm

The 12 x 12 x 6 clear bag rule applies during Knott's Scary Farm only. Some special ticket events do not allow re-entry, and the page says costumes that hide identity are not allowed.
