Purses and wallets smaller than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are named as permitted bags. They are inspected at the gate.

A small clutch purse no larger than 6 x 9 inches is allowed along with the clear bag.

Small clutch bags of 6 x 9 inches do not need to be clear.

Small purses that do not exceed 4.5 x 6.5 inches are permitted and skip x-ray screening, though they are still inspected. Larger purses go through the bag entrances and x-ray screening.

A handbag, clutch or tote counts as your one smaller soft-sided personal item. You can carry it in beside your main bag.
