Short answer

Cedar Point does not allow outside food or drinks, including picnic baskets and coolers, but unopened plastic bottled water is allowed. Every bag, purse, backpack and waist pack is examined at entry, and sharp objects, pocket knives, metal chains and firearms are banned. Strollers can be rented, and guests may re-enter with a ticket from the exit associate.

Bag policy in detail

Security screening and arrival

All-day lockers sit just inside the Main Gate near Ocean Motion and at Cedar Point Shores, taking credit cards only, with no overnight rental. Moveable lockers and ride lockers are also offered.
