Short answer

Toyota Center asks fans to travel light but allows bags up to 10 by 6 by 2 inches, diaper bags and medical bags. Backpacks, coolers, laptops, outside food and drinks are banned. Strollers stay on the concourse. Binbox lockers at the Jackson Street Entrance and Skybridge start at 10 dollars, and there is no re-entry.

Bag policy in detail

Toyota Center encourages fans to travel light and not bring bags. If you do bring one, permitted items are bags no larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches, diaper bags and medical bags. All bags are subject to search on entry.

At concerts and third-party events, fans with bags can use any entrance for screening. At Rockets games, fans with bags must use the Jackson Street Entrance or the Bell Atrium Entrance, and the Skybridge is for premium ticketholders.

Food and drink

Food, drinks and glass, plastic or metal containers are on the prohibited list, along with alcohol and coolers. Water fountains are located on all concourse levels.

Cameras and electronics

Professional cameras are prohibited at all events unless you carry a media credential. Cameras with lenses not longer than 4 inches and no flash may be allowed for some events. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited unless approved, so call 713-758-7200 ahead. GoPros, laptops, selfie sticks and detachable phone lights are on the prohibited list.

The pages do not mention tablets or bringing your own power bank. Charging stations are at sections 102, 112, 413 and 433, and you can rent a power pack.

Strollers and family items

Strollers are permitted but restricted to the concourse areas, and you can check one in and store it at any Guest Experience booth. Baby seats and carriers are on the prohibited list. Diaper bags are listed among the permitted bags.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

The pages do not mention umbrellas, blankets or seat cushions.

Signs, flags and fan items

Banners, signs and flags are allowed up to 11 by 17 inches. They cannot be displayed during play, hung or fastened anywhere in the arena, or be political, commercial or obscene. Poles to display them are prohibited. Unauthorized noisemakers, glitter, confetti, streamers, helium balloons, basketballs, beach balls and inflatables are prohibited too, and so are masks of any kind.

Medical needs and accessibility

Medical bags are listed among the permitted bags and are subject to search. Assisted listening devices are available at any Guest Experience location, and complimentary wheelchair escorts are provided.

Security screening and arrival

Guests with prohibited items can be refused entry. Re-entry is not permitted, and you need an unused ticket to come back in if you leave.

Bag storage and lockers

Binbox lockers are at the Jackson Street Entrance and on Level 3 of the Tundra Garage at the Skybridge entrance, starting at 10 dollars per checked bag, which is non-refundable. They take cards and mobile payment only. Bag check opens when the doors open and closes 60 minutes after the event, and bags are not accessible during the event.

Rockets games and other events

The bag entrance rule differs: Rockets games use designated bag entrances, and concerts and third-party events use any entrance. Camera permission can also depend on the event.
