Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre allows clear bags up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches or small clutches and fanny packs up to 6 by 9 inches. Strollers, lawn chairs and coolers are banned. You can bring a sealed gallon of water or an empty reusable bottle, and blankets at most shows.
Every rule at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre
An item that is not listed is not mentioned in the official pages we checked. Each row links to the page its rule came from.
Bag policy in detail
Only small clutches, wristlets or fanny packs no bigger than 6 by 9 inches, or clear plastic bags no bigger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches, are allowed inside. The allowed list adds that clear backpacks and clear totes can be up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, which is the same size.
Bags that fall outside this, backpacks, luggage and camera bags included, are not allowed. All bags are searched on entry, guests can refuse a search and the venue can refuse entry, and items that are not allowed have to go back to your vehicle.
- Clear bag, backpack or tote up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches
- Small clutch, wristlet or fanny pack up to 6 x 9 inches
- No other backpacks, luggage or camera bags
- Re-entry is not permitted
Food and drink
Outside food or drink is not allowed, except factory-sealed water. A sealed, unfrozen water bottle up to one gallon per person is allowed, or up to two gallons in high heat, and so is an empty refillable plastic bottle, though reusable bottles are not allowed at certain shows. Metal hydroflasks are not allowed.
A Camelbak bladder is allowed if it is in a clear bag and empty on arrival. Free YETI refill stations are near the main restrooms. Coolers, cans, glass containers and alcohol are not allowed.
Cameras and electronics
The standard policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras and small digital cameras. A camera with a detachable lens, or a lens that zooms out more than 1 inch, counts as professional and is not allowed. Some artists do not permit cameras at all. Audio and video equipment and selfie sticks are on the prohibited list.
The pages do not mention laptops, tablets or power banks. E-cigarettes and vape pens are allowed, and only in the lawn and plaza areas.
Strollers and family items
Strollers are not allowed. Breast pumps are allowed, and the bag holding one gets searched. Children 1 year old and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent's lap.
Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items
Blankets are allowed at most shows, but the page names shows where they are not permitted, so check the day of show information. Lawn chairs are not allowed, though rental lawn chairs are available for most shows. Non-aerosol sunscreen and bug spray are allowed, and aerosol sunscreen is not. A personal misting fan is allowed if it is empty on arrival. The pages do not mention umbrellas.
Signs, flags and fan items
Signs larger than 8.5 by 11 inches are not permitted, because they could block other guests' view. Signs must be appropriate and not distract the artist. Laser pointers, chain wallets and other chains, and fireworks are prohibited.
Medical needs and accessibility
The pages do not describe a separate medical bag process. Accessibility gates are available at each entrance, and service animals are allowed.
Security screening and arrival
Expect metal detectors, maybe a pat down, and a bag check. Gates usually open 60 to 90 minutes before showtime. Re-entry is not permitted, and leaving means you need a new ticket. The venue is cash-free.
Bag storage and lockers
The pages do not describe bag storage or lockers. They tell you to return items that are not allowed to your vehicle.
Shows and special events
The pages say rules can change based on artist requests or safety concerns. Blankets and reusable bottles are not allowed at some named shows, so read the day of show information, your show email or the venue's social posts for your date.
