Short answer
Shoreline Amphitheatre allows a small clutch up to 6 by 9 inches or a clear tote up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches. Backpacks, coolers, umbrellas and strollers are banned. You can bring an empty plastic water bottle, a sealed water up to a gallon, food in a clear gallon bag and a small blanket.

An item that is not listed is not mentioned in the official pages we checked. Each row links to the page its rule came from.
Bag policy in detail
You can bring a small clutch up to 6 by 9 inches, or a clear plastic or PVC tote bag no larger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches. Any bag larger than a clutch must be clear and fit those dimensions. Large or oversized bags, luggage, duffel bags and backpacks are not allowed.
Expect metal detectors, maybe a pat down, and a bag check if you have a bag.
- Small clutch up to 6 x 9 inches
- Clear plastic or PVC tote up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches
- No backpacks, duffel bags or luggage
- Re-entry is not permitted
Food and drink
Food is allowed in a clear 1-gallon Ziploc bag. For drinks, an empty refillable plastic water bottle with no glass is allowed, and so is a sealed bottle of water up to 1 gallon that is not frozen. Alcohol and other beverages are not allowed, and tailgating is not either.
Coolers are banned, soft-sided cooler bags included, and so are glass containers of any kind, bota bags and eye drops. The venue sells food and drinks inside.
Cameras and electronics
Camera phones, disposable cameras and small digital cameras are allowed. A camera with a detachable lens counts as professional, and so does one whose lens zooms out more than 1 inch. Professional photo, video and audio equipment is not allowed, and neither are video cameras, GoPros and action cameras. Some shows ban phones and recording of any kind, so the FAQ says to check for show-specific notes.
Laptops and tablets are prohibited, and so are drones, selfie sticks, laser pointers and massagers. The FAQ does not mention power banks.
Strollers and family items
Strollers, baby carriers and wagons are on the prohibited list. So are pacifiers, stuffed animals and dolls. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent's lap in reserved seating.
Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items
Umbrellas are not allowed. A small blanket or towel is fine, but blankets larger than 6 by 6 feet are not. Soft seating pads without a hard frame are fine, and lawn chairs are not, though rental lawn chairs are available for most shows and have to be turned in at the end of the event. Tents and wind chairs are prohibited.
Signs, flags and fan items
Signs larger than 8.5 by 11 inches, a standard sheet of paper, are not allowed, and neither are banners. The venue says the policy can change by show. Balloons, balls, frisbees, glow sticks, LED gloves, air horns and musical instruments are prohibited as well.
Medical needs and accessibility
The FAQ does not describe a medical bag process. Over-the-counter medication is allowed only in its original packaging. Service animals are permitted, and the venue offers accessible parking, a shuttle and assistive listening devices.
Security screening and arrival
Gates usually open 60 to 120 minutes before showtime, so check your event page. Re-entry is not permitted, and if you leave you need a new ticket. The venue is cash-free.
Shows and special events
The FAQ says some policies, including the sign and camera rules, can change on a show-by-show basis. Check your event page and the venue's social pages for your date.
