Short answer
SoFi Stadium allows one clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small non-clear clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Clear backpacks must be completely clear. Outside food, umbrellas that do not fit a clear bag, and strollers are not allowed, and bag valets charge a fee.

An item that is not listed is not mentioned in the official pages we checked. Each row links to the page its rule came from.
Bag policy in detail
For all events at SoFi Stadium, permitted bags are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no bigger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Clear bags, backpacks and fanny packs are allowed, but they must be completely clear, with no tint, hologram, printed patterns or stickers.
A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, the Ziploc kind, is also allowed. So is a small non-clear bag up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap. For NFL events, all bags must follow the NFL clear bag policy.
The page lists purses larger than a clutch, coolers, briefcases, diaper bags, cinch bags, luggage, computer bags, camera bags and any bag larger than the permitted size as prohibited. Bags that break the policy have to go back to your vehicle or be checked at a bag valet for a fee.
- One clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, completely clear
- Or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
- A small non-clear bag up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches is allowed too
- Bag valets charge a fee and sit at the stadium corners
Food and drink
Outside food and beverages, alcohol included, are prohibited unless medically required. Medically required items have to be in sealed containers. Food or drink bought elsewhere on the Hollywood Park campus, outside the stadium's security perimeter, is also prohibited inside.
For water, you can bring one factory-sealed bottle of 20 ounces or less per person, or a clear, non-metal or soft-sided empty reusable bottle of 20 ounces or less. Glass and metal containers, hard-sided bottles and collapsible bottles are not allowed. Coolers are not allowed either, except in the designated tailgate parking lots during the approved tailgating window.
Cameras and electronics
Small, personal-use, non-professional cameras are allowed. Professional-grade cameras, video-recording devices, GoPros and cameras with detachable lenses or lenses over 6 inches are not. Selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles are not allowed either.
Computers, laptops, tablets including iPads and handheld game consoles are prohibited, except devices required for accessibility needs. Drones and remote-controlled toys are prohibited. The A-Z guide says NFL and promoter policies prohibit recording any live event.
The policies page does not mention power banks or tripods. The A-Z guide says ChargeFUZE charging stations are located throughout the stadium for recharging phones.
Strollers and family items
Strollers, car seats and wagons, including stroller wagons, are prohibited. They can be checked at the bag valet locations before entry for a nominal fee.
Diaper bags are on the prohibited bag list, but a diaper bag with medically necessary items is permitted. It may get extra screening and needs a bag tag. Toys or stuffed animals have to fit in a bag that meets the bag policy.
Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items
The policies page lists umbrellas as prohibited and sends you to the A-Z guide. The guide says SoFi Stadium is covered, and that only small, collapsible umbrellas that fit in your approved clear bag are permitted. Anything bigger has to stay in your vehicle.
Non-heated blankets are permitted. Soft seat cushions no larger than 22 by 16 inches are allowed, but cushions with pockets, metal or hard materials are not. Lawn chairs and rigid-framed seating devices are prohibited unless needed for ADA use or mobility concerns.
Signs, flags and fan items
Banners and signs can be no larger than 3 by 5 feet. They have to be event-related and made of paper or lightweight cloth-like material. They cannot be commercial, obscene, offensive or political, cannot be battery-operated or lit, and cannot be hung or attached anywhere in the venue.
A support pole is not allowed unless it is soft, bendable plastic under 2 feet long, like a giveaway stick flag. Venue management has the final say. Balls, frisbees and throwable objects, hard-shelled football helmets, balloons, inflatables, stickers and tents are prohibited.
Medical needs and accessibility
Medically necessary items may get extra screening, and anything that could be used as a weapon is not allowed on site. Diaper bags with medically necessary items and sealed medically required food and drink are permitted.
Service animals are allowed, defined as dogs or miniature horses trained to perform tasks tied to a disability. Comfort and emotional support animals are not. Motorized wheelchairs and mobility devices used for accessibility needs are permitted.
Security screening and arrival
All items are subject to security screening, and security staff and venue management decide whether any item is admitted. The venue can change its entry policies at its sole discretion without notice.
You cannot leave and come back with the same ticket. In an emergency, ask the nearest Guest Experience Representative or Security Supervisor, who may allow re-entry at the same gate.
Bag storage and lockers
Bag valets check bags, strollers and wagons that break the policy, for a fee. They are at the NE, SW and SE corners of the stadium, and the page lists the NE corner twice, so check the event email for the exact spots. Follow the event's Know Before You Go email for details.
Football, concerts and other events
The page says the bag policy may vary per event at SoFi Stadium. It points to the Know Before You Go information on the stadium's social media channels and in your pre-event email.
For NFL events, all bags must follow the NFL clear bag policy. The page does not give a separate list for concerts or other events, so read your event email before you go.
