Food and drink

Bottles or cans of any kind are prohibited, except for empty refillable non-glass water bottles. Alcohol and outside food or drinks are prohibited. Fans with food allergies or medical conditions may bring their own food after contacting Fan Services. The pages do not mention coolers.

Cameras and electronics

For Toronto FC and Toronto Argos games, non-flash still photography is permitted if the lens does not exceed 55 mm. Tripods, selfie sticks, monopods and wearable cameras such as GoPros are not. For Toronto FC and Toronto Argos games the lens must not exceed 55 mm. Tripods, selfie sticks, monopods and gimbals are prohibited. Remote controlled aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems are prohibited. The pages do not mention laptops, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Strollers are welcome in the venue but not inside the seating bowl. They must be checked at the Fan Services location inside Gate 3, and can be retrieved during intermissions. A bag that does not meet the policy for medical or other reasons is allowed after contacting MLSE for a security inspection. Breast pumps and diaper bags are allowed after visual search and x-ray.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

The prohibited list bans umbrellas larger than 12 inches in length. A weather note in the same FAQ says umbrellas are not allowed within BMO Field and suggests raincoats or ponchos. The pages do not mention blankets and seat cushions.

Signs, flags and fan items

Banners, signs and flags are permitted in the supporters sections if they are event related, in good taste, not commercial, political or offensive, and no larger than 5 x 5 feet. Larger ones need pre-approval. Flags smaller than 5 x 5 feet on flexible PVC poles are allowed in the supporters sections with Toronto FC approval. The FAQ states the pole limit as 6 feet in one place and under 10 feet in another. The pages do not mention binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

The pages describe no separate medical bag process, so ask the venue before the event if you need to bring medical items.

Security screening and arrival

Security staff use metal detection equipment for all MLSE events, and fans open large jackets, remove non-religious headwear and open permitted bags. Some events add pat-down searches.

Bag storage and lockers

A limited amount of space is available for a bag check outside the venue at Gate 3 for $10. Strollers are checked at the Fan Services location inside Gate 3.

Toronto FC, Argonauts and other events

The camera and flag rules in the FAQ are for Toronto FC and Toronto Argos games, and the page says to contact Fan Services for other events. The page states no re-entry is permitted after leaving the gates.
