Michigan Stadium bans all bags, including purses, backpacks, fanny packs and clear bags, with one medical or child care bag allowed after inspection at Gate 3 or Gate 9 West. All bottles, food, coolers, umbrellas, strollers, flags and video cameras are banned. A bag check at Crisler Center holds eligible items, and there is no re-entry.

Bag policy in detail

The stadium has a restricted bag policy. All bags, including purses, backpacks, fanny packs and clear bags, are prohibited. One medically necessary or child care bag is allowed after inspection. Backpacks are prohibited along with all other bags, clear ones included. Purses and fanny packs are prohibited along with all other bags.

Food and drink

Cameras and electronics

Cameras for personal photography are allowed. Lenses longer than six inches, video cameras, tripods, monopods and camera support devices are prohibited. Camera lenses longer than six inches are prohibited. Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks and camera support devices are prohibited. Drones and remote controlled aircraft are prohibited. The pages do not mention laptops, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Strollers and infant car seats are prohibited. One medically necessary or child care bag is permitted after inspection and tagging. Those guests enter through the bag exception gates at Gate 3 or Gate 9 West.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Umbrellas are on the prohibited items list. Seat cushions with metal, pockets, storage slots, seat backs, arm rests or attachments of any kind are prohibited. Cushions can be rented for the season through Wolverine Seats. The pages do not mention blankets.

Signs, flags and fan items
