College Football Stadium Bag Policies and Gate Entry Rules

College football stadiums set their own bag rules, and most of the ones we verified use a clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Their rules on bottles, umbrellas, strollers and cameras differ, so read each page. We have verified 57 of the 57 NCAA football stadiums we cover.

Every stadium sets its own rules

We have not verified a league-wide NCAA football bag rule, so this page does not claim one. Places that host NCAA football games also host concerts and other events, and each publishes its own limits.

Among the 57 stadiums we have verified, the limits run from a small clutch of about 4 by 6 inches to bags 14 inches or more on a side, and the table below lists each one with its source.

Bag rules at verified NCAA football stadiums

These rows come from each venue's own policy page and update when a venue is read again.

Questions about NCAA football rules

  1. We have not verified one. Each stadium page shows what that venue's own policy says, with the source and the date we read it.

  2. We read each venue's own policy before showing a rule. The ones still marked have not been read yet, and we do not guess while they wait.

  3. Not always. The venues we have verified say their rules can change by event, so check the event page for your date.
