Short answer

Folsom Field allows a clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon clear bag or a clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Factory-sealed plastic drink containers up to 1.5 liters are allowed, but metal bottles, coolers, umbrellas, laptops, tablets, tripods and full-size strollers are banned. Blankets up to 50 by 60 inches are allowed.

Bag policy in detail

Allowed are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, a one-gallon or smaller clear freezer bag, and small clutch bags up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches, with or without a strap. Medically necessary items are allowed after inspection at the entrances. Only the clear bags, freezer bags and small clutches listed in the policy are allowed in. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches are allowed.

Food and drink

Non-alcoholic drinks in approved factory-sealed plastic containers of 51 ounces or 1.5 liters or smaller are allowed. Metal bottles, thermoses and glass are prohibited. Hard and soft-sided coolers of any size or style are prohibited. The pages do not mention outside food.

Cameras and electronics

Small personal cameras are permitted. Professional-grade video or camera equipment, tripods and monopods are prohibited. Professional-grade camera equipment such as telephoto lenses is prohibited. Tripods and monopods are prohibited, and so are selfie and GoPro sticks. Laptops, iPads, GoPros and other consumer electronics are prohibited. Portable phone chargers and clothing with battery-powered heating are allowed, with limits based on the size of the lithium-ion battery pack. The pages do not mention drones.

Strollers and family items

Full-size strollers and car seat carriers are prohibited. Medically necessary items are allowed after proper inspection at the entrances.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Umbrellas of any size are prohibited. Blankets must not be larger than 50 x 60 inches and may be unrolled and searched. Seat cushions and chair backs must be 18 inches or less in width, with no pockets, zippers or covers.

Signs, flags and fan items

Any unapproved signs or banners are prohibited. Binoculars are on the list of permitted items. The pages do not mention flags.

Medical needs and accessibility

The pages describe no separate medical bag process, so ask the venue before the event if you need to bring medical items.
