An item that is not listed is not mentioned in the official pages we checked. Each row links to the page its rule came from.

Bag policy in detail

Bags, purses, backpacks, briefcases and luggage are not allowed. Clutches, wristlets and fanny packs up to 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches are permitted, and so are medical and diaper bags up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches after x-ray screening. All permitted bags are searched on entry. Backpacks are on the list of items not allowed. Purses are not allowed, apart from a clutch or wristlet up to 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches.

Bag rules can vary for concerts and special events, so contact Guest Relations at 303-405-8548 for your event.

Food and drink

Empty metal or plastic bottles of 32 ounces or less, with no liquid or ice, are permitted at Nuggets, Avalanche and Mammoth games. They are prohibited at concerts and special events unless the tour says otherwise, and glass is never allowed. Outside food and beverages are prohibited. Guests are welcome to bring baby food, snacks, formula and other supplies needed to feed a baby. Hard case containers, coolers included, are prohibited.

Cameras and electronics

Personal point-and-shoot cameras are welcome. Cameras with telephoto or detachable lenses, lenses longer than 4 inches and external flashes are not, and neither is video recording on any device or live streaming. Interchangeable or detachable lenses, and cameras with lenses longer than four inches, are prohibited. Monopods, bipods, tripods and selfie sticks are prohibited. Drones and other unmanned aerial devices are prohibited. Laptops are prohibited. iPads and GoPros are permitted for Nuggets, Avalanche and Mammoth games only. The pages do not mention power banks. Battery-operated, electric or chargeable apparel, including hand and neck fans, blankets, socks, coats and handwarmers, is prohibited.

Management can deny any electronic device or camera accessory, and cameras and recording rules vary for concerts and special events.

Strollers and family items

Guests are encouraged not to bring strollers. Larger strollers can be checked at the Guest Relations kiosks in the Grand Atrium, outside Section 120 and outside Section 375. Strollers are allowed in suites. Diaper bags and medical bags up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches are permitted after inspection. Guests with them use the VIP and ADA Door 1 at the Grand or East Atrium for x-ray screening, and the bags stay with you at your seat.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Large umbrellas, golf umbrellas and any umbrella with a pointed end are prohibited. Stadium seats with metal frames or attachments, and booster seats, are prohibited. Seat cushions and pads for medical needs are permitted. The pages do not mention blankets.

Signs, flags and fan items

Signs, posters and banners cannot be larger than 22 x 28 inches or attached to a stick, pole or holding device. Concerts and special events can set their own limits. The only flags permitted are Nuggets, Avalanche and Mammoth flags bought from the Altitude Authentics team store, at those teams' games, plus other themed flags on theme nights. Flags cannot be on a stick or pole. The pages do not mention binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

Diaper bags and medical bags up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches are permitted after inspection. Guests with them enter through the VIP and ADA Door 1 at the Grand or East Atrium for x-ray screening, and the bags have to stay with you at your seats. Nursing and baby-feeding supplies are welcome, and sensory bags are free at Guest Relations kiosks.

Security screening and arrival

All permitted bags, jackets and guests are searched on entry and inside the arena. Ball Arena has a no re-entry policy for all events. Clothing or face paint that hides the whole head, tactical gear, and clothing that imitates officials or staff are prohibited.

Bag storage and lockers

Binbox lockers near the Infinity Sculpture and the Spires in the Grand Atrium plaza start at 15 dollars per bag, non-refundable, and take cards and mobile payment only. Bag check opens 30 minutes before general doors and closes an hour after the event, and bags are not reachable during it. The prohibited items page says there are no check-in areas or lockers, so the two pages disagree and the bag policy and FAQ pages describe the lockers.

Home games, concerts and special events

The water bottle, tablet and flag rules differ between home games and concerts. The prohibited items page says bags, cameras, recording equipment and signs have varying policies for concerts and special events, so contact Guest Relations for yours.
