An item that is not listed is not mentioned in the official pages we checked. Each row links to the page its rule came from.

Bag policy in detail

Food and drink

One factory-sealed plastic bottle of still, clear, unflavored water of one liter or less is allowed, and so is a 1 liter reusable bottle with no glass, empty on entry. Soft-sided single juice or milk containers are also allowed. Food for individual consumption is allowed, eaten in your seat. It should be wrapped, bagged or in a container, soft-sided and within the bag policy, and fruit that could be thrown has to be sliced. Outside food cannot go into restaurants, club lounges or suites. Hard-sided coolers are prohibited. Soft-sided food containers are allowed if they comply with the bag policy.

Cameras and electronics

Non-professional still cameras and video cameras are welcome for personal use if the lens is no longer than 6 inches and there are no extra detachable lenses. Special events may set different rules. Cameras with lenses longer than 6 inches, or with extra detachable lenses, are prohibited. Drones, remote controlled unmanned aerial vehicles and other motorized vehicles or devices are prohibited. The pages do not mention tripods, laptops, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Strollers are welcome if they do not limit movement or block aisles. They should not be left unattended or stored on the concourse or in the seating bowl, and can be self-parked at the Guest Services Centers. Infant and medical bags are allowed. Guests with disabilities may bring sealed containers of liquids required for medical reasons.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Small, collapsible umbrellas are allowed. One that blocks sightlines can be refused, and the Padres can ask guests to lower them. The page does not mention seat cushions. Lawn chairs and rigid framed seating devices are prohibited, except for ADA needs or as the Padres approve. The pages do not mention blankets.

Signs, flags and fan items

Banners and signs can be up to 4 x 8 feet if they are not commercial, political or obscene and do not block views, advertising or the batter's sight line. The Padres can remove any of them. The pages do not mention flags and binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

Infant and medical bags are allowed. Guests with disabilities may bring factory-sealed plastic or paper containers of liquids needed for medical reasons.

Security screening and arrival

Security officers at every gate inspect packages, bags and purses. Re-entry is permitted: you scan your digital ticket out and back in, except on some promotional days until the giveaway items are gone. Chewing tobacco and alcohol are not allowed.

Bag storage and lockers

The page describes no bag storage. Items with wheels, such as strollers, can be self-parked at the Guest Services Centers.

Padres games and special events

The page says special events at Petco Park may require different policies, and that gate times change for special events. Concerts have their own prohibited items page, so check the event page.
