Short answer

Petersen Events Center allows one clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches or a one-gallon freezer bag, plus a small clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Backpacks, coolers, seat cushions, selfie sticks and cases for binoculars or cameras are banned. Pitt basketball allows only small personal still cameras with lenses of 3 inches or less.

Bag policy in detail

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear freezer bag are allowed, with a small clutch of about 4.5 x 6.5 inches. For Pitt basketball, only small personal still cameras with a 3-inch lens or smaller are allowed. Cameras with detachable lenses or flashes, and video, audio and professional recording devices, are prohibited. Camera rules vary for other events.
