Short answer

Red Rocks allows single-pocket bags up to 13 by 15 by 8 inches, small purses up to 6 by 9 inches and diaper bags, and all possessions must fit under your seat. Empty reusable bottles up to 32 ounces, food in a one-gallon clear bag, blankets and binoculars are allowed. Umbrellas, strollers, laptops, tablets and glass are banned.

Bag policy in detail

Single-pocket and clear bags no larger than 13 x 15 x 8 inches are permitted. Bags with multiple pockets are not. All possessions must fit under your designated seat, which is 18 x 12 inches. Bags with multiple pockets, and any bag larger than 13 x 15 x 8 inches, are prohibited. Hydration packs of 2 liters or less are allowed if emptied. Small purses and fanny packs that are 6 x 9 inches or smaller are allowed.

Food and drink

Empty reusable water bottles of 32 ounces or less are permitted, and so are non-alcoholic drinks in factory-sealed plastic containers of 32 ounces or less unless the show prohibits them. Glass bottles and aluminum cans are prohibited. Food for personal consumption is allowed if it is in a clear plastic bag of one gallon or less. Fruit and vegetables must be sliced and only plastic utensils are allowed. Soft-sided coolers of six-pack size, 10 x 7 x 7 inches or smaller, are permitted. Hard-sided coolers and larger soft ones are not.

Cameras and electronics

Personal point and shoot cameras without removable lenses are permitted unless the show prohibits them. Cameras with removable lenses, GoPros, 360-degree cameras and recording devices are not. Cameras with removable lenses are prohibited. Selfie sticks are prohibited. The page does not name tripods. Remote controlled flying devices, including drones, are prohibited. Strollers and family items

Strollers of any kind are prohibited. Diaper bags and breast pumps are permitted. Prescription medication should be brought only in the amount needed, in its original container, and staff verify it at the entrances.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Umbrellas are on the prohibited items list. Blankets no larger than 40 x 60 inches are allowed. They must not extend beyond your ticketed seating area and are not permitted on any walkways. Stadium seats and seat cushions are allowed if they are under 18 inches wide and have no legs.

Signs, flags and fan items

Paper signs no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches are allowed if they do not block another guest's view and are not on poles or sticks. Binoculars are on the permitted items list. The pages do not mention flags.

Medical needs and accessibility

The pages describe no separate medical bag process, so ask the venue before the event if you need to bring medical items.

Security screening and arrival

Guests and their possessions are inspected, so bags should be open at the gate. Red Rocks management has the final say on what comes in.

Bag storage and lockers

The page describes no bag storage, except that excess prescription medication can be stored with medical staff in the first aid room at the South Ramp entrance.

The page says some shows prohibit items that are otherwise allowed, such as sealed drinks and cameras, so check the event page for your date.
