Short answer

U.S. Bank Stadium follows the NFL clear bag policy: a clear bag or clear backpack up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon bag, and a small clutch of 4.5 by 6.5 inches. One sealed or empty 32 ounce water bottle is allowed. Strollers, flags, banners and laptops are banned, and bag check costs 15 dollars.

Bag policy in detail

For Vikings games, bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear freezer bag. A small clutch of 4.5 x 6.5 inches can come in with one of the clear options. Clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags are allowed if they fit within 12 x 6 x 12 inches. At most non-Vikings events, backpacks and bags over that size are not allowed, though some events, concerts included, use the NFL policy. Purses larger than a small clutch of 4.5 x 6.5 inches are prohibited. A clutch is allowed along with a clear bag.

Food and drink

For Vikings games, one factory-sealed 32 ounce plastic bottle of water per person, or one empty 32 ounce reusable bottle with no metal or glass, is allowed. Glass, cans, thermoses and metal bottles are not. Outside food and beverages are prohibited. Exceptions are made for guests with medical requirements or special needs. Hard-sided containers and coolers are prohibited.

Cameras and electronics

Still-photography cameras with a lens of 6 inches or less are welcome. Video cameras are prohibited, and spectator cameras with lenses over six inches are not permitted. Spectator cameras with lenses over six inches long are not permitted. Monopods, tripods and selfie sticks are prohibited. Laptop computers and computer bags are prohibited. The pages do not mention drones, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Strollers are prohibited. An exception is made for medically necessary items after inspection at a gate designated for that purpose. Diaper bags are listed as prohibited bags.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Umbrellas are prohibited, but small ones that can be folded and placed under the seat are permitted. Hand-carried jackets and blankets are welcome and are searched on entry. Large traditional seat cushions with pockets are prohibited. The bag policy page also lists seat cushions among prohibited items, so ask before bringing one.

Signs, flags and fan items

Signs larger than 18 x 24 inches, and signs on poles or staffs, are prohibited. Banners and flags are on the list of items that are not permitted. The pages do not mention binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

An exception is made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose. Diaper bags are on the list of prohibited bags, so ask the stadium about a baby bag ahead of time.

Security screening and arrival

All guests are searched, and the stadium uses OpenGate contactless screening, so guests keep belongings in their pockets and carry approved bags through the lane. Staff can confiscate items, and guests who decline a search may be denied entry or ejected.

Bag storage and lockers

A bag check is available at all events, outside the Legacy Gates and Ticketmaster Gate, at 15 dollars per bag. Bags that exceed the policy have to go back to your vehicle, be disposed of or be checked.

Vikings games and other events

The bag policy page says that for most non-Vikings events, backpacks and bags over 12 x 6 x 12 inches are not allowed, and that some events, concerts included, may use the NFL clear bag policy. The water bottle rule is written for Vikings games, so check your event page.
