Short answer

BMO Stadium allows one clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches or a one-gallon clear storage bag, and bans non-clear bags, clutches and backpacks of any size. Outside food and drink are banned except unopened 20-ounce water bottles. Strollers must be checked behind Section 129, and umbrellas, tripods, laptops and selfie sticks are banned.

Bag policy in detail

Guests may bring one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear storage bag. Non-clear bags, including small clutches, are not allowed. Food and drink

The food and drink entry allows two unopened 20-ounce plastic water bottles per guest, while the prohibited items list says a single factory-sealed bottle of no more than 20 ounces. The two entries differ. Glass and metal containers are prohibited. Outside food and beverages are not allowed, apart from unopened water bottles and minimal snack-sized items for young children. Food and drink needed for infants or medical or religious reasons are permitted with approval. Coolers are on the prohibited items list.

Cameras and electronics

Non-professional, non-flash still cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens are permitted at most events. Video and audio recording devices, GoPros, monopods, selfie sticks and tripods are never allowed. Cameras with telephoto or interchangeable lenses are not permitted. Tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are prohibited. Unmanned and remote-controlled aircraft systems are strictly prohibited at the stadium and its parking areas. Strollers and family items

Strollers are welcome but must be checked in at the Guest Experience Center behind Section 129. Exceptions are made for medically necessary items after inspection and stadium management approval. Diaper bags smaller than 12 x 6 x 12 inches are permitted, along with plastic bottles, formula and breast pumps.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

Umbrellas are on the prohibited items list. The pages do not mention blankets and seat cushions.

Signs, flags and fan items

Event-related signs up to 11 x 17 inches are allowed if they are not attached to a stick or pole, are made of paper or cloth-like material and do not reference current conflicts or political candidates. The standing supporters' section has an exception with club approval. Flag and banner poles are prohibited, and flags or banners that reference current conflicts or political parties or candidates are not allowed. The pages do not mention binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

Security screening and arrival
