Short answer
Prudential Center prohibits bags larger than 14 by 12 by 6 inches, plus backpacks of any kind, large duffel bags, coolers and hard-sided bags. Other bags are hand-screened or x-rayed, and parenting and medical bags may exceed the size. Cans, bottles and signs over 8.5 by 11 are banned. Lockers cost 8 to 10 dollars, and there is no re-entry.

Bag policy in detail
Bags larger than 14 x 12 x 6 inches, backpacks, large duffel bags, coolers and hard-sided bags are prohibited. Other bags are hand-screened or x-rayed, and parenting and medical bags may exceed the size after x-ray. The arena policy page words the size as 12 x 14 inches. Backpacks of any kind are prohibited. Bags and purses over 14 x 12 x 6 inches are prohibited, except childcare or medical bags.

Cameras and electronics
For some events small non-professional cameras without an external flash or extendable lens may be brought in, and at certain events no cameras are allowed. Professional cameras with a lens of 2.5 inches or more, GoPros and recording devices are prohibited. Professional cameras with a lens of 2.5 inches or greater are strictly prohibited. Selfie sticks are strictly prohibited. All electronic devices other than cell phones and non-professional cameras are prohibited. Strollers and family items
Small fold-up umbrella strollers are permitted and should be stored under a seat. Larger ones can be checked at the Guest Services Centers near Sections 9 and 114. Parenting bags and medically necessary bags may be exempted from the size rule but must be screened by x-ray before entry.
Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items
Umbrellas are permitted but must stay closed inside, cannot have a pointed end and must be stored so they do not block views. The pages do not mention blankets and seat cushions.
Signs, flags and fan items
Signs, banners, posters and flags are allowed only if no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches, not on a stick or pole, without wires, lights or batteries, and event related. They cannot be offensive, derogatory, political or commercial. Flags are allowed only if they meet the sign rule: no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches and not on a stick or pole. The pages do not mention binoculars.
Medical needs and accessibility
Parenting bags and medically necessary bags may be exempted from the size limit, but they must be screened by x-ray. There are marked x-ray lines at the three main entry gates. Re-entry has exceptions such as medical necessity.
Security screening and arrival
All other bags are hand-screened or x-rayed, with dedicated x-ray lines at the Citizens Bank Tower, M&M's Tower and Lafayette Street entrances. Guests with prohibited items are refused entry, and illegal items are confiscated. The arena has a no re-entry policy during events, with exceptions such as medical necessity.
Bag storage and lockers
A locker truck outside the arena stores oversized bags and prohibited items. The A-Z guide also lists storage lockers outside M&M's Tower and the Lafayette Lobby Entrance for 8 to 10 dollars, and items are screened before storing and collected at the end of the event.

The page says camera rules vary by event, and that for certain events no cameras are permitted. Check the event page for your date.
