Short answer

Rogers Arena allows bags, purses and backpacks up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches, and larger ones go back to your vehicle. Baby bags are welcome after security checks. Empty plastic water bottles are welcome at Canucks games, but outside food, glass or steel bottles, cans and coolers are banned. Collapsed strollers can be checked at Guest Services.

Bag policy in detail

Bags, including purses and backpacks, must not exceed 14 x 14 x 6 inches. Guests with larger bags must return them to a vehicle or another secure area before entering, and the prohibited list still names bags or luggage. Backpacks are covered by the bag rule, so one up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches is allowed. Purses must not exceed 14 x 14 x 6 inches.

Food and drink

Empty plastic water bottles are welcome at Canucks and Warriors games. Glass or steel bottles and all types of cans are not permitted, and the policy for concerts and other events is subject to change. Outside food or beverages are prohibited, with exceptions for food allergies and medical needs that guests arrange with Fan Services. Coolers are on the prohibited items list.

Cameras and electronics

Non-flash still photography is welcome at Canucks games if the lens does not exceed 75 mm or have a detachable lens. Audio and video recording devices are prohibited at all events. The camera lens cannot exceed 75 mm or be detachable at Canucks games. Sticks, flagpoles and selfie sticks are prohibited. The pages do not mention drones, laptops, tablets and power banks.

Strollers and family items

Strollers are welcome in the arena and can be checked at the Guest Services Centres at Sections 104 (hockey games only), 114 and 311. Any baby bags are welcome after security checks. Guests who need special food exceptions or medical supplies should tell Fan Services in advance.

Umbrellas, blankets and comfort items

The pages do not set a blanket rule, and the arena offers clean blankets at Guest Services. The pages do not mention umbrellas and seat cushions.

Signs, flags and fan items

Guests may display banners and signs if they are not attached to sticks or poles and do not carry politically motivated, religious or obscene messages. Sticks and flagpoles are prohibited. The pages do not mention binoculars.

Medical needs and accessibility

Baby bags are welcome after security checks. Guests who need special food exceptions or medical supplies should tell Fan Services by phone or email in advance.

Security screening and arrival

Fans found with a prohibited item can have it confiscated and in some cases be evicted. The FAQ page describes no screening method and no re-entry rule, so ask Fan Services before you leave and return.
