A verdict here is a summary of the venue's own wording, and the rows below give that wording. Rules can change by event, so a game and a concert at the same venue can differ. See the water bottles guide for how every kind of venue treats them.

    Cans, glass bottles and boxes of liquid are prohibited. Transparent, plastic, empty water bottles are permitted.

    Glass, metal or plastic containers of any kind are not permitted. During a heat advisory, D.C. United allows one sealed bottle of water per person up to 20 ounces, and says so in advance.

    Bottles or cans of any kind are prohibited, except for empty refillable non-glass water bottles.

    The food and drink entry allows two unopened 20-ounce plastic water bottles per guest, while the prohibited items list says a single factory-sealed bottle of no more than 20 ounces. The two entries differ. Glass and metal containers are prohibited.
