ACC Football Bag Policies and What Each Stadium Lets In

Every stadium sets its own rules

We have not verified a league-wide ACC bag rule, so this page does not claim one. Places that host ACC games also host concerts and other events, and each publishes its own limits.

Among the stadiums we have verified, the limits differ widely: Boston College Alumni Stadium (clutch 8x5x2 in, clear bag 12x12x6 in), Bobby Dodd Stadium (clear tote 12 x 12 x 6 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), Scott Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), Kenan Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, or clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 in), Lane Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag, plus a clutch), Doak Campbell Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in plus a small clutch), Clemson Memorial Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), Wallace Wade Stadium (clear 12 x 12 x 6 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), L&N Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in or 1-gallon bag), JMA Wireless Dome (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in or 1-gallon bag, plus a clutch) and Carter-Finley Stadium (one clear bag plus a small clutch).

Questions about ACC rules

  1. We have not verified one. Each stadium page shows what that venue's own policy says, with the source and the date we read it.

  2. We read each venue's own policy before showing a rule. The ones still marked have not been read yet, and we do not guess while they wait.

  3. Not always. The venues we have verified say their rules can change by event, so check the event page for your date.
