Big 12 Football Bag Policies and What Each Stadium Allows

Every stadium sets its own rules

We have not verified a league-wide Big 12 bag rule, so this page does not claim one. Places that host Big 12 games also host concerts and other events, and each publishes its own limits.

Among the stadiums we have verified, the limits differ widely: Folsom Field (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), Jones AT&T Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, or clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 in), Milan Puskar Stadium (one clear bag plus a small clutch), McLane Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch), Bill Snyder Family Stadium (one clear bag plus a small clutch), Mountain America Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or small bag), Nippert Stadium (clear bag policy, diaper bags allowed), Boone Pickens Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in plus a 6 x 9 in clutch), Amon G. Carter Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, drawstring 12 x 12 in or clutch), Jack Trice Stadium (clear 12 x 6 x 12 in, 1-gallon bag or clutch) and Rice-Eccles Stadium (one clear bag 12 x 12 x 6 in or 1-gallon bag, plus a clutch).

Questions about Big 12 rules

  1. We have not verified one. Each stadium page shows what that venue's own policy says, with the source and the date we read it.

  2. We read each venue's own policy before showing a rule. The ones still marked have not been read yet, and we do not guess while they wait.

  3. Not always. The venues we have verified say their rules can change by event, so check the event page for your date.
