5 more venues are queued for review and will join this table once their rules have a source and a date.

What drones rules look like

  • Of the venues we have checked, 159 ban drones and 138 do not mention them. None allows one.
  • The ban often comes with a longer wording about unmanned aircraft, and some college stadiums add that flying one near the stadium on a game day can break federal airspace rules.
  • A venue that does not mention drones is not saying they are allowed. Bringing one to a stadium or arena is a poor bet either way.

Before you go

  1. 1Leave the drone at home or in the car. Security will not admit it.
  2. 2Do not fly near a stadium on an event day. Many venues sit under restricted airspace.
  3. 3For drone photos of a venue, look for official footage rather than planning to shoot your own.

Questions about drones

  1. No venue we have checked allows it. Where a page mentions drones, it bans them.

  2. Several venues warn that airspace over the stadium is restricted on event days. Check the venue page and the local aviation rules before you fly.

  3. Not at the parks we checked that mention them. Look at the park page for the exact rule.
